The GOP establishment seems to think they can still play the game and play nice with the Dems. It’s a losing idea that they simply haven’t thought through at all. The reason why Trump is so popular with the base is that it’s NOT establishment. That’s the whole point. Bill Barr thinks Trump was reckless. Without any mention of Biden and his careless and reckless handling of classified docs.
